Sound sculpture - 2024
Protocol: Sound sculpture to be activated by the viewer.
The sound object is the desire to give music a physical place. The spectator is sometimes immersed in the artist's narrative, sometimes in the sounds of the world. This sculpture, entitled "Theatrum mundi", speaks of Giulo Camillo's theater of the world. A theater that would give anyone access to universal knowledge. The artist has turned this idea into a 3-storey sculpture. Society, the living & politics. An artist-composer, she sees music as an expression of intelligence in its own right. Another way of embodying the systems that model the laws of our world - the sound object is itself an architecture, the embodiment of a system. By activating it, we liberate the poetic word, which is also political.
